Due to the global chip shortage we are unfortunately not able to supply the M|xx bundles anymore. We will continue to support existing customers, including with the Apple Silicon compatibility, but we will not be able to sell new bundles. Of course, our software-only bundles (S|xx) remain available and can still be used with any supported Blackmagic, Deltacast or AJA interface.

We have new icons for all our "Universal" applications (the ones that can run natively on Apple Silicon computers).

Some of our applications may not have the new icon yet, and that's because they are not "Universal" yet, most probably because we are still waiting for a third-party libreary or framework to be universal. But stay tuned as we should receive these very soon. Read the following article for more information on the compatiblity with Apple Silicon Computers.

The new icons have been made by the studio MadebyHanna, we are forever grateful for such a beautiful job, thank you! These previous icons have been with us since more than 10 years, so these ones should be there for a while too.

Our software is mostly compatible with Apple Silicon chips. When checking for the compatibility with Apple M1 computers, there are different things to consider, depending on the software. Indeed, some external libraries may be used and may not be compatible. Or some features may note be available. Make sure to check this article of our help center.

Most of our applications should work fine with macOS 10.15 Catalina. Indeed we started a long time ago to move all our code to 64bit, and we continuously make sure that our code is kept up to date. Currently only MovieRecorder and M|Replay have to be updated to be fully compatible with macOS Catalina.

We are working on MovieRecorder 4.3 and M|Replay 2.1 and release versions should be available soon. If you are interested to test a beta version, let us know, but in the meantime, if you are using MovieRecorder or M|Replay, you should not update to Catalina.

Also, for users of our M|Family, you will have to update your drivers to the latest version (6.13). Previous versions of the drivers are not compatible with macOS Catalina.

In the past few months, we ran a lot of tests on Catalina. But if you encounter any issue after updating to Catalina, please let us know.

And as usual, for production computers, remember the good old "When it works, don't fix it", and if you need to upgrade, make sure to do a backup of your system before so you can maybe revert back if need be. Ideally run tests on another computer using our free demo versions, that's one of the reason why we provide them.
