What's new in OnTheAir Video and OnTheAir Video Express?
- Output Preview: Issues with the deinterlacing option (frame could be half height)
- AJA Outputs: Now supporting to select the AES and Analog Audio outputs. Note that in multi channel environments, the last application to ask to output to AES wins, there is no locking mechanism possible.
- Potential crash with AJA output when using invalid CC
- Potential performance issues with large playlists
What's new in OnTheAir Video?
- Output Preview: Now overlays Subtitles on top of video (only output preview, not the "real" output)
- Traffic Option: Added the ability to use User Actions for secondary events. We first search for an AppleScript with the same name, if not found, we search for a User Action, and if it can't be found, we set an "Offline" AppleScript action.
- Actions: SCTE: Added a "auto-duration" parameter to "Send SCTE Trigger" action. When enabled, it calculates the duration until the next comment and modify the duration parameter accordingly (allows to send a SCTE trigger with a duration automatically)
- REST API: Now limiting the logs done in the HTTP file to prevent it to become too big. And limiting its size to 500MB.
- Scheduler: Potential issues if a clocked start was scheduled at the same time as a scheduled start
- Scheduler: Playlists could remain open in some rare case, but then add up to memory usage.
- StreamDeck: Issues with first version of Stream Deck Classic (Buttons were red)
- StreamDeck: Profiles would show in double
- Actions: When using a large number of AppleScript Actions, it would sometimes block the UI
- Stream Clips: Issues adding stream clips
- Potential crash when updating AppleScripts
- Skip to next was not working when a "Next Clip" was set
- Potential crashes in macOS Tahoe
- Traffic Option: Fixed issue where the secondary event would be refused if its name was overriding the virtual source name (not needed for secondary events)
Warning
For licensing reasons, OnTheAir Video Express can not read files using the DNx codec anymore.
